Hummus

This homemade hummus is a creamy, smooth dip that perfectly balances earthy, tangy, and herby flavors. It’s an ideal spread for pita bread or a dip for fresh vegetables and crackers. Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup fresh Italian parsley leaves
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 15.5 oz cans chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 ½ tbsp water
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • In food processor, process parsley, lemon zest, salt and garlic.
  • Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat.
  • Add chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, water, cumin and olive oil.
  • Process until smooth, scrape and repeat.
